2. General information on data processing
In principle, you can use our website without providing personal data. Where personal data (e.g. name, address or email address) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. We only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services, or where you have given your consent.
The legal bases for processing are in particular Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), (b) GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures) and (f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
3. Hosting
Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When the website is accessed, technically necessary data (see "Server log files") is transmitted to and processed on Vercel's servers. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of our online offering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
As data may be transferred to the USA, we have concluded a data processing agreement and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the provider in order to ensure an adequate level of data protection.
4. Server log files
Each time our website is accessed, information transmitted by your browser is automatically collected. This includes in particular: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address.
This data is not merged with other data sources. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to ensure smooth connection setup, comfortable use, and to evaluate system security and stability.
5. Contact and contact form
If you contact us via the contact form, our questionnaire, by email or by phone, the data you provide (e.g. name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your request) will be stored to process your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions.
Data submitted via the form is forwarded to us by email and is not passed on to third parties for advertising purposes. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries) or (a) GDPR (consent).
The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Data is collected and stored on the basis of our legitimate interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
